A national Treasure. Jesse grew up working on a plantation in Alabama during the Jim Crow era. He founded BOND in 1990 to help black men overcome anger, but soon found all people need the truth.

Jesse Lee Peterson Founded BOND, the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny, which is a nationally-recognized 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit organization, based in Los Angeles. JLP and BOND are dedicated to “Rebuilding the Family by Rebuilding the Man.” Since 1990, we’ve offered meetings and counseling for people dealing with personal, relationship and family issues, helping them overcome anger through forgiveness. We hold weekly Church services, monthly Men’s Forums, Women’s Forums, town halls, rallies, and conferences. BOND Studios produces Church services online, The Jesse Lee Peterson Show, and The Fallen State — spreading the message of forgiveness and responsibility worldwide. We have a Home for Young Men, mentoring those ready to change. Over the years, we’ve run After School Character Building, BOND Leadership Academy (a private school, grades 1-12), and an Entrepreneur Academy for young men (ages 15 and up).
