Children should be free to be who they are — not indoctrinated to believe they were born in the wrong body.

Chris Elston, activist fondly known as “Billboard Chris“, isn’t just a father to two daughters; he is a beacon of commitment to protecting the health of children, an issue close to his heart. Chris’s steadfast dedication led him to erect a billboard in East Hastings, Vancouver, echoing the sentiments of a similar poster in Edinburgh. While this billboard faced opposition, it sparked a movement of parents and supporters, showing the world the power of a single voice.

Chris decided to take a stand against the new woke gender ideology. Children should be free to be who they are — not indoctrinated to believe they were born in the wrong body. Puberty blockers are the first step in a medical pathway that brings physical harm to children. We are lied to about the effects of these drugs, and the cross-sex hormones which almost always follow. As the High Court in England laid out, children cannot give informed consent to these harmful, life-altering drugs. Our politicians refuse to listen, and our media refuse to report, so I’m having conversations across North America, one person at a time.

The journey didn’t end with a single billboard. Chris’s innovative spirit transformed him into a 21st-century sandwich-board advocate, carrying messages to places of learning and governance. With placards that reflect significant court decisions and a focus on the well-being of children, Chris’s ultimate goal is beautifully simple: saving children from mutilation by engaging in meaningful, dialogues, one conversation at a time.
